02What this site is
This is a single marketing page. There is no account to create, no newsletter to subscribe to, no pricing form, no chat widget and no contact form. The only ways to reach us from this site are a direct email link and an external booking page.
03What we receive
When you email us
Your message arrives at hello@hookri.com with your address and anything you choose to include. We use it only to answer you and, if you become a client, to run the engagement.
When you book a call
The booking page is operated by Cal.com, not by us. It collects your name, email address and the time zone needed to schedule, and it applies its own privacy policy. We receive the resulting appointment details.
Server logs
Like any web server, ours records a line per request: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user agent. This is a technical necessity for operating and securing the site, and it is processed by our host.
04Third parties
The page loads two resources from other providers, routes bookings through a third, and is served by a fourth. Each one can see your IP address at the moment of the request — that is unavoidable, and it is disclosed here rather than hidden in a cookie banner.

Google Fonts and jsDelivr are non-EU providers, so your IP address is transferred outside the European Economic Area. The transfer rests on the provider's own safeguards (Google's Standard Contractual Clauses, among others).
We run no advertising pixel, no retargeting tag and no session-replay script — so no third party receives your browsing behaviour on this site.
05Cookies
No consent banner appears here because there is nothing to consent to: no analytics, no advertising pixel, no personalisation, no session replay.
Nothing on this site writes to your browser's storage.
If we ever add analytics or advertising, this policy changes first and the banner appears with it.
06Legal bases
Under the GDPR, we rely on:
- Legitimate interest — operating, securing and maintaining the technical logs of this website, and answering messages you send us.
- Contract — handling enquiries that turn into an engagement, and delivering what was ordered.
- Consent — only where a future feature requires it. Nothing on this site currently does.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not run cross-context behavioural advertising from this site.
07Retention
- Enquiries that never become projects — deleted within [X months].
- Client correspondence and deliverables — kept for the engagement plus [X years], as commercial records require.
- Server logs — kept for [X days] by the host.
- Invoices — kept for the statutory period in [jurisdiction].
08Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. Write to hello@hookri.com — we answer within one month.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to your national data protection authority. For France, that is the CNIL.
09Children
This site and our services are aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.
10Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes get called out here rather than buried.
